Well doesn't time fly.
I've been uming and ahing over the future of the Terrain Shed recently, as to be honest, sales haven't been where I would like them to be. They haven't been bad, just not great. This does seem to be the curse of the small business though, cash flow is always tight and its often a struggle to make ends meet at the end of each month.
It is disheartening though when you put a new product up that you think is the bees knees, folks online seem to love it and say they will definitely be getting it on pay day and then it doesn't actually turn into any sales.
This has all led to a reevaluation of the business and what I concentrate on designing and building with the upshot being that I'm going to be making what I want to make / need for my games, and if folks want to buy them as well then I'll be happy to sell them one.
For instance, todays releases include Father Wilsons church. I made this because I had been playing Dead Mans Hand and realised that my main protagonist (the aforementioned Father Wilson) didn't actually have a church in which to preach to his flock. Well now he does and I must admit I am very happy with how it turned out, though I need to produce a post apocalyptic version of it as well.
Right thats probably enough for now. I will do my very best to keep this blog updated more often but if you want more frequent Terrain Shed news including loads of WIP pictures then your best bet is our Facebook Page as thats just easier to keep updated.
